Lately this blog has been all about Red Carpet fashion, but with the 2012 Academy Awards closing the award season, hopefully in the future, I will find enough time to catch up on all the other things I missed out.
Moving on with my favorite gowns of the night, I must say I really enjoyed seeing Rose Byrne at the 2012 Oscars, as she always makes for an interesting appearance. This time, she shined in a stylish gown signed Vivienne Westwood.
The asymmetrical glittering black sequined gown, was teamed with Jimmy Choo Linda suede platform sandals and a beautiful Chanel clutch.
Chanel Fine jewelry, featuring the amazing Chanel Lueur d’un Soir earrings, styled the perfect fitted dress.
Beauty wise, Rose opted for a shiny straight bob and a bronze toned make-up. Simple and delightful.
Taking on the Red Carpet, at the 14th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, to commemorate costume design in television and film, was the lovely and beautiful actress Kate Beckinsale. To celebrate the event and her winning of the prestigious Lacoste Spotlight Award for her fashion choices, Kate decided to wear a Vivienne Westwood creation.
The floor-length strapless gown, had a white and blue fan print, draping detailing at the top and an elegant train.
To style the gown, Kate chose Salvatore Ferragamo pumps and an amazing pair of Bochic earrings.
She finished up the look with a loose bun and flawless make-up.
Rocking her new set of bangs at the Los Angeles Premiere for The Vow, Rachel McAdams spiced things up on the Red Carpet, wearing a beautiful Vivienne Westwood design, that fit her new look, to perfection.
The trendy pastel mint draped dress, with a structured bodice, was teamed with nude Christian Louboutin Pigalle Point-Toe pumps, and styled using layered Pomellato Tango necklaces and a Pomellato Tango bracelet.
Straight hair, and as mentioned before, blunt new bangs (they might just be clip-ons though), plus a hot red lip shade, worked together to complete this magnificent look.
I’m really excited about this promo tour for the The Vow, as pretty much all of the looks Rachel showcased so far, are quite spectacular.
And this would be one of the many reasons, I find it impossible not to love fashion …
I was very excited to see that two of my favorite singers stepped out on the Red Carpet last night, at the 2011 American Music Awards. The event that took place atat the Nokia Theatre LA Live in California welcomed on its Red Carpet the always extraordinary Katy Perry, looking astonishing in a Vivienne Westwood white sequin dress.
It seems that Katy holds onto this Chinese detail-oriented fashion statement, styling it perfectly with a pair of electric-blue peep-toes and a geometrical hair piece in multiple colors. Red lips and a black winged eyeliner completed her look.
I loved it !
