Congratulations to Blake Lively and everyone who wanted her to win this week. She finally did and she quite deserved it !
This might just be it, the final poll, as I’m considering putting this weekly voting activity on hold.
I wish you all a happy Thursday !
Here it is, just in time, our weekly dose of pure loveliness, as Blake Lively attended the Godiva’s Valentine’s Day : The Sweetest Story Ever Told Sweepstakes, in New York City, this week. Wearing a custom Valentino design, that combined elements from the Spring 2012 collection, Blake approached a romantic and feminine look, perfectly matching the Valentine themed event.
The mid length cream dress, with beautiful embroidered detailing, was teamed with a pastel blue textured tapework skirt and a pair of Christian Louboutin for Giles Fall 2010 Pointed Toe Snakeskin pumps. I guess Blake never lacked imagination, nor originality, in the styling department, and that’s what I adore about her.
Soft golden waves and a subtle pink lip shade, were the perfect option for a beautiful, natural look.
On a different note, it seems like the 2012 lace trend, got everyone under its spell. I’m actually enjoying this take on delicate and feminine fashion. Girlie girl all the way !
At the begging of this week, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted in NYC, heading for a TV Show in order to promote her latest movie entitled New Years Eve. The outfit that Sarah chose to wear on that occasion may serve as a point of inspiration for a bright and elegant winter look.
She opted for a summery Valentino dress that she wore under a rose-toned structured wool tailored Valentino coat. As for the shoes, she chose a pair of Jimmy Choo Forbes Pumps from the label’s Fall 2011 collection.
The bright and unexpected part of the entire ensemble is the totally inspired choice to wear the popping aqua American Apparel tights with this neutral toned look.
Would you see yourself wearing such an original outfit ?
With the New Years Eve Premiere in NYC, I was given the opportunity to see a beautiful Jessica Biel, wearing a dress from the amazing Valentino Spring 2012 collection, an interesting combination and an exciting appearance for Jessica.
The maxi sparkly crystal beaded gown, was sophisticated with a hint of bohemian (love) and would have been just perfect had a few more inches in lenght.
The long-sleeve, drop-waist romantic dress was paired with gold “Anna” sandals by Christian Louboutin, a snakeskin clutch and of course Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
I much prefer the model’s hair style from the runway for this particular dress, but overall this is the best I have seen Jessica looking in a while now.
Do you like this dress on Jessica ?
Besides an interesting plot line and having two “Sarah Michelle Gellars”, the Ringer series displays some pretty good fashion along with the overflowing suspense. Siobhan Martin’s high end New York style is built upon the great designs of Miu Miu, Chloe, Valentino, Chanel and Gucci.
Adopting Siobhan’s love for dramatic gowns and her impeccable taste when it comes to statement jewelry, Sarah Michelle has never looked better. The show is definitely worth watching and I cannot wait to see what’s next. Be sure to check this category as I am pretty convinced that we will see more of SMG and her glamorous character.
How do you feel about SMG’s new sense of style ? Love it or not ?
