There’s something about Nicole … If someone would have told me a while back, that I will fell so hard for her style, well … it would have seemed pretty funny and quite unlikely. But look at me now, or better yet, look at her now, she is definitely a different person, you gotta love the 30s.
In order to promote her new reality show, Fashion Star, that will start airing March 13, Nicole Richie made an appearance on Extra at The Grove. For the interview, Nicole chose to wear a Thakoon Spring 2012 leather dress.
The marigold mini dress, with a notched neck, a pleated skirt and unfinished hem, was paired with the House of Harlow Leigh blue snakeskin pumps.
A colorful vintage belt and House of Harlow 1960‘s jewelry, including cushion cocktail rings, a hematite pave arrow ring and a pyramid cuff, accessorized the beautiful look.
A bold red lipstick (a definite must when wearing bright orange/yellow) and a casually tousled bob, with long wispy bangs complemented the dress.
I still can’t figure out why exactly I was so drawn to the Thakoon Pre-Fall 2012 collection, but my guess would have to be a mix between the nudes and the pastels (I adore them), the classic knits (perfect for fall, I’m happy they stick for 2012) and the fluffy pockets of course (nice detailing). Must be one or all of these reasons.
With that being said, let’s take a closer look to some of my favorite pieces of this collection, I must admit I would wear them in a glance. Also don’t forget to check out Oteea Land’s Facebook page if you want to see the entire collection.
Let me know what you think. Do you have a favorite look ?
Staying true to her recently developed ladylike Red Carpet style, Jessica Alba chose golden for the March of Dimes 6th Annual Celebration of Babies Luncheon, that took place last weekend, in Beverly Hills.
Wearing a sleeveless, knee-length dress with bronze accents, Jessica looked beautiful in this simplified Thakoon Spring 2012 version.
Pairing this perfect holiday outfit with a golden Giles & Brother necklace and a pair of Brian Atwood ‘Pois’ pumps, Jessica look both sweet and edgy.
I personally like this simplified version of the runway dress, but that printed version looked pretty cool too.
Which of these two looks do you prefer ?
