I love having reasons to celebrate, to turn any given day into something worth remembering and if there are cake and flowers involved, well, all the better. This weekend was all about that and other relaxing activities, including indulging in goodies (maybe too much for my own good), reading (I just finished Silver Linings Playbook, next is Perks of Being a Wallflower), walking on what felt like an incredible warm weather and watching lots of series, of course. After struggling with some health issues for a while, I finally feel like my old self again and I am more than ready for an incredible spring ♥
When it comes to my everyday clothing, I love a colorful outfit just as much as I love a black, white or gray one. And I happen to love to wear elegant clothes, just as much as I enjoy throwing a pair of jeans and a shirt on and go all laid-back for the day. And I think this is the fun of fashion, the endless possibilities to be someone new every day. Right now, I couldn’t possibly commit to a style, although I appreciate people who flawlessly stick to a signature aesthetic.
From the moment Puss entered our lives, I knew right away it was going to become harder and harder to leave the happy house. I just love spending my time home, surrounded by my two favorite boys, playing around, cooking, reading, working, especially now when it’s getting colder and colder outside. Can you honestly blame me? But there are of course the days, when the weather is calling for a long walk, when I love drinking a coffee some place nice, take some pictures for the blog and just enjoy the little things. Today was one of those days.
The week is almost over and I feel nostalgic, because it was such a beautiful summer week. Between work, and house duties, the days were filled with walks, long talks over delicious beverages and holiday planning ’til late into the night. The highlight of the week though, was my fiancee and I, celebrating 6 happy years of love and the feeling is simply wonderful ! I could not ask for more, right now ♥
