2012 Met Gala – Round Up Part III

Thank God I didn’t like all the dresses spotted last evening on the 2012 Met Gala‘s Red Carpet, because choosing my favorites of the night wasn’t as easy as I would have hoped. With a different story hiding behind every dress, with so many favorite stars and favorite designers in one single place, the task seemed almost impossible.

2012-Met-Gala---03Sofia Vergara stayed true to her gorgeous signature style by sporting a silver-embellished hourglass Marchesa gown from the Spring 2012 collection. The opulent design that featured a strapless bodice, a peplum waist and crystal beading was teamed with Harry Winston jewels. A sleek center part and fuchsia pink lipstick perfected the appearance.

Camilla Belle wowed me as she took on the Red Carpet for the 2012 Met Gala, by channeling the 1920’s Hollywood glamour like no one else could. The actress donned a pearl deco-inspired Ralph Lauren Spring 2012 gown with a daring plunging neckline and a low cut back. Diamond jewels, a silver clutch, a rich plum lip gloss and a sleek side-part chignon provided the finishing touches.

Lana Del Ray joined the A-list celebrities for the 2012 Met Gala as a Joseph Altuzarra guest and obviously wearing the designer’s creation. Her ensemble, consisting of a silver and black hand-embroidered floor length gown and a black silk cape best represented her music and her taste for dramatic, vampy appearances. Minimal jewelry, deep plum colored lips, soft curls and a darker hair color completed the magical entrance.

Sofia Vergara – 2012 Golden Globe Awards

As you might have noticed already, nude was a huge do at yesterday’s 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet and I felt for almost every dress showcasing this warm hue. But amongst them all, I also admired Sofia Vergara‘s choice, as she opted to wear a Vera Wang Fall 2012 Bridal gown.

The Vera Wang Bridal peacock navy-blue mermaid gown was accentuated by diamonds, diamonds and more diamonds.

A long, straight, glossy hair, smokey eyes and a sweet berry lip color completed the show-stopping look.
