Kate Winslet can really blew us away when she wants to. The 37 year old actress proved just that on February 23, whilst she attended the Cesar Film Awards 2012, sparkling in a gown signed by British designer Jenny Packham.
The glamorous floor length gunmetal sequined gown, with a sexy plunging neckline and cap sleeves, had the perfect amount of seductive opulence expected for the Red Carpet of such a prestigious ceremony.
Van Cleef & Arpels luxurious jewelry and a complementary gold metallic Jimmy Choo clutch, accessorized the bold appearance.
Kate wore her hair in a chic updo, with softly side-swept bangs, for the important event and completed the look with a natural toned make-up. AMAZING.
I love, love, love the YSL look Ali Larter donned on the Red Carpet on February 23, whilst attending The Art of Elysium Hosts 5th Annual “Pieces of Heaven” Art Auction. It’s simplicity at its best. And it is beautiful.
The refined bright yellow sleeveless mini number, was styled with a chic thin tan belt, which tightened the loose dress and accentuated the waist line .
A neutral toned Chloe Sally clutch, crafted from exotic python, a pair of Valentino studded latice slingback pumps and amazing David Webb jewelry, accessorized the minimal look.
Ali styled her chic blond bob in soft waves and wore a bold red lip color to complement the yellow dress. Yellow and red never fail together.
Just about yesterday I was wondering, who is going to be the lucky lady, to first wear a piece of J.Mendel’s fabulous Fall 2012 collection. Today, I got the answer, under the form of a very interesting appearance, made by actress Rooney Mara, at the 14th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards. With her love for minimal and dark shades in mind, The Girl With The Dragoon Tattoo actress, opted for a purple J.Mendel Fall 2012 mini dress.
The eggplant dress, with a deep plunging neckline, was simply styled with a pair of nude platform sandals and a complementary plum lip shade.
A classic Rooney sleek bun, finished up the modern look. For as much as I appreciate simplicity and minimal styling, I feel that there’s still something missing here.
I loved the look on the runway model, a little bit more, due to the pairing of the dress with black tights and ankle boots.
I think I speak for everyone when I say it’s such a pleasant surprise, to see our sweet Jennifer Aniston ditching the Little Black Dress for once, on the Red Carpet. It is as exciting, as it is rare. I mean, I lover her, I really, really do, I get black too, but her lack of passion for color is way beyond me, because with a body like hers and some experimenting, she could create sparkles.
At the Los Angeles Premiere for Wanderlust, Jennifer was photographed wearing a Tom Ford Spring 2012 dress, that slightly took her out of her comfort zone. And she looked radiant.
The Black and White Chevron Patterned dress, with a fitted bustier and constructed hips, was elegantly teamed with a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps.
Gold jewelry, amongst them a Tom Ford gold chain link bracelet, and a Tom Ford Alligator Pochette, from the Fall 2011 collection, accessorized the polished look.
The finishing touches were given by a simple straight hairstyle and a glossy rose-colored lipstick.
Another day, another big name, another beautiful MLH design. Emmanuelle Chriqui attended the NFL Honors event, on Saturday night, in Indianapolis, Indiana, wearing yet another look from the successful Spring 2012 collection, opting for a Maria Lucia Hohan Trish jumpsuit. Adorable and exciting. It keeps getting better.
The retro chic crepe de chine jumpsuit in emerald, looked wonderful on the Red Carpet, and worked even better against Emmanuelle’s skin tone, for what seemed to be a mix between a strong, yet delicate appearance. We girls, dream of just that.
Gold Amrapali jewelry, soft curls and a natural make-up, completed the inspired look.
If you loved the emerald jumpsuit and wish to have one of your one, be sure to check the MLH Shop for more details, right here. Happy Tuesday everybody ! <3
We’re back to white, with another take on a romantically embellished gown, this time worn by the lovely Judy Greer, at the 2012 SAG Awards. The Collette Dinnigan Fall 2011 design, may slightly resemble a bridal approach, but it doesn’t fail to deliver a so delicate, feminine and chic look.
The floor-length lace embroidered organza gown, was successfully teamed with a bold fuchsia clutch and a pair of dark red drop earrings, for an overall dreamy look.
Beauty wise, Judy opted for red hot lips and a classic up-do. Charming indeed.
On Monday evening, Elizabeth Banks attended the premiere of her new movie Man on a Ledge, at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, in Hollywood. The blonde beauty bet on gold for this event, and she won an exquisite appearance, with the help of Emilio Pucci.
The Emilio Pucci Resort 2012 gold mini, with sparkling details and an open back, totally flattered Elizabeth’s sillouethe. The Gold theme was completed by the amazing Christian Louboutin Lady Max sandals, from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection, and a Jimmy Choo Mini Tube clutch.
Tousled waves, a sheer glossy pink lipstick, plus a hot pink nail polish finished the fabulous look.
