Old Streets. New Memories

It’s crazy to see how the most beautiful moments of our lives turn into memories in just minutes, right? The lovely walk we took yesterday, the laughs we shared the other night, the things we said this morning, they are all memories now. Memories that I love and cherish. And if it wasn’t for this blog, I wouldn’t have all these pictures reminding me of how great it feels to walk the old streets carrying all those precious feelings inside. My little treasures ♥

In case you didn’t notice, I have the tendency to romanticize everything ^_^

A Leo-Stripe Affair

Brasov had so many wonderful places that would have been perfect for our little blog shoots and that are so incredibly charming. But due to the fact that I absolutely hate to take pictures having people around me, it doesn’t even matter if they’re looking at me or not, you can easily imagine how I tried my best to find the emptiest streets in a city filled with tourists ^_^

My salvation were these cute little streets, hidden between old buildings, a scenery that brought a little bit of a graffiti vibe to most of the pictures. I kind of like the colorful and fun result that you can discover below. Let me know what you think about my leopard print & stripes mixing. I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

Much love, O. ♥

The Many Shades Of Grey

Nothing beats a laid back outfit during a HOT(!) summer afternoon to keep me comfortable and focused. For a day filled with many errands to run, I didn’t feel like putting something pretty on, in fact I didn’t felt like putting anything on but … who does that? So instead I grabbed a loose t-shirt, a pair of shorts, a cap and sneakers, all in the many shades of grey and I was set. I think grey best suits my mood these days :)

Some Place Deserted

The week is almost over and I feel nostalgic, because it was such a beautiful summer week. Between work, and house duties, the days were filled with walks, long talks over delicious beverages and holiday planning ’til late into the night. The highlight of the week though, was my fiancee and I, celebrating 6 happy years of love and the feeling is simply wonderful ! I could not ask for more, right now

Blame It On The Sun

…for feeling so lazy; yes, I can finally complain about the hot summer days I’ve been awaiting so eagerly, however, I won’t do that. It wouldn’t be fair. Despite the unbearable temperatures, the super hot sun (I feel it’s gonna burn my skin eventually, without me being a vampire) and all the “friendly” insects that came along, I still love summer.

The nights are a pure bliss, but during the first week of intense heat, I felt like hiding in a dark corner and just sleep for hours, instead I had a Mad Men mini-marathon. This week I needed a change, so I decided to rise and shine bright and early in the morning (think 6 AM), start my day with a walk/run in the park, followed by a delicious breakfast ! Up until now it feels great, I really hope to keep up the workout routine this time, that’s the hardest part for me.

I wish you all a beautiful summer, filled with the most wonderful days and magical nights !!! Summer MoodBoho VibesDon't Look BackI See Stars

It’s Not The World That’s Changing

… I guess it’s me. Yesterday, I finally got the chance to enjoy some beautiful hours under a warm sun and it was such a bliss – have I told you it’s been raining like crazy for the past three weeks? Where are the hot summer days, so I can start complaining about the heat and the melting ice-creams? Hopefully, just around the corner.

I love a long walk on a sunny day like yesterday was, especially when it’s followed by a delicious coffee and light shopping, sadly I didn’t have enough patience to try anything on, that happens a lot with me. But I ended up buying a pair of high-heels that will be perfect for the summer, part of me changing and trying new things – even uncomfortable pairs of shoes – yeah, if it’s not flat, it usually means it’s uncomfortable. But since I love heels so much on other people, it’s time to accept that a fashionable life requires small sacrifices.

I’m in a time of my life, when I feel that with everyday passing by I change just a little bit more, in small but fundamental ways. For as much as I’m enjoying this natural stage, the moment my wardrobe started feeling like a crisis, the first hint that things were changing, didn’t feel so great. Now, I’m slowly building a new style, that I’d better still be loving in a couple of years. I’m excited to be looking back here, a year from now, to actually witness the changes.

Saturday in the City

Good morning darlings,

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Sunday, because I know I am. It would have been a perfect day, had I like … absolutely nothing to do, nothing at all, so I could just sleep, read and watch my beloved TV series (I’m awfully behind at this point).

Luckily, yesterday we (my fiancee and I) found a glimpse of free time so we spent a few hours walking the busy city streets, taking pictures, enjoying the nice weather and …it felt great, it always does. Wish I’d do this every single day during summer time. Especially now, when our lovely city came to life and a bunch of great concerts, festivals and other interesting activities are about to take place during the following weeks. Guess who’s excited ? Me, me, me … !!!

Music, theater, museums and fireworks …soon ♥

A special thank you to my better half for bearing with me today (actually all the time … but shhhh), I know it’s hard but it means EVERYTHING …
