Like many other girls, I bear my fair share of insecurities, but they do tend to dissolve once I wear something as beautiful as this cobalt blue dress that I received courtesy of Kristine’s Collection. Aside from the cut, which is very flattering, I was drawn by its bold color which you guys probably know that is one of my all time favorites. And if the floral dress stood for a relaxed and more casual choice, the Carvella Laced Peplum Shiftdress feels elegant and chic in a totally effortless way. I’m slowly but surely building my dress collection. I guess later is better than never. Note to self: you need more pairs of black heels ^_^
On January 5, Michelle Williams paid a visit to the Tonight Show studios for a chat with Jay Leno about her latest movie, My Week with Marilyn, the Golden Globe nomination and her latest vacation in Mexico. For this occasion, the beautiful actress wore a Jason Wu Spring 2012 RTW Peplum Dress, and it looked both sweet and chic.
The playful sleeveless peplum dress was paired with the black version of the Fendi Grosgrain Bow-Front Pumps. Michelle made a simplicity statement for this appearance, wearing no jewelry and letting the splattered Swarovski Elements on the dress do all the sparkle.
An orange nail color and the super cute blonde pixie cut finished the look.
I’m just sad I couldn’t find any pictures with Michelle standing as I’m sure the dress would have looked even better, not that I’m complaining. Having the Jason Wu Spring 2012 collection amongst my favorites, I can only hope I’ll get to see more of it this year.
