Think of the title of this post as my way of saying how much I loved, loved, loved “The Perks of Being a Wallflower“, it’s easily one of the most beautiful and honest books I have ever read and due to my introvert character it gave me a lot to think about, as I found myself related to many of the situations. Currently I’m reading “The Secret Life Of Bees” which I’m enjoying just as much. God, I love books! Now I’m ready to see the movies as well. And I feel like I have a million things to share with you which I will start doing from now on because I don’t feel like talking about the weather or about my busy schedule anymore ^^

The Falling Leaves Of Red And Gold

Now that I look at these photos, I kind of wish they were shoot somewhere in the park, so I could become one with the breathtaking scenery colored in red, gold, russet, scarlet and light tan. This time of the year is truly magical and I sometime wish everything would stay like this for as long as possible, all, except for the cold weather. Getting out of the house today once the rain stopped wasn’t easy, and although I had kind of a different outfit planned in my head, I ended up picking something warm and comfortable instead, including my new hat.

The hat definitely deserves something on the feminine and sophisticated side also, but there’s plenty of time for that too. I plan on wearing it a LOT and hopefully I’ll figure out what better works with it along the way. I wish you all a wonderful and warm week  ♥

Quiet Afternoon

Hello everybody! So, this is rather a quiet Saturday, there’s not much news about me since this week I didn’t had the chance to take any outfit pictures. It is gotten really cold – at least for me, now I feel half-frozen all the time, I’m not good with low temperatures at all, and it has been raining also. I cannot complain since I love spending a cozy day inside, watching movies, drinking hot-chocolate, catching up on reading and my favorite tumblrs, writing ideas in my notebook or cooking. Plenty to do ^.^ I get a little bit nostalgic thinking this time last year, on October 13, I was walking the beautiful streets of Rome alongside my fiancee, enjoying the amazing weather and the incredible beautiful city! ♥

However, today I wanted to share a few pictures with you. Since I am in the process of saving money for some beautiful future plans, and since I also have to make up for some little investments we made along the way this year, I promised myself I would stay out of the stores for as much as I can. Buuuut so it happens that yesterday I found the hat I was looking for, alongside a new pair of skinny jeans, a sweater and another something I’m not sure how to call.

Old Streets. New Memories

It’s crazy to see how the most beautiful moments of our lives turn into memories in just minutes, right? The lovely walk we took yesterday, the laughs we shared the other night, the things we said this morning, they are all memories now. Memories that I love and cherish. And if it wasn’t for this blog, I wouldn’t have all these pictures reminding me of how great it feels to walk the old streets carrying all those precious feelings inside. My little treasures ♥

In case you didn’t notice, I have the tendency to romanticize everything ^_^

On the Dark Side

Dear readers,

Sorry for the lack of activity here on the blog lately and sorry if I haven’t got the chance to get back to you. I find myself forced to take a little break from everything, in order to properly take care of my eyes. After months of struggling and a misdiagnose, on Friday I found out that I’m dealing with a severe eye infection.

That pretty much took the fun out of everything, as you can easily imagine, and forced me to live kind of like a bat. I now enjoy a dark room, I have to think about my medicine & the eye drops, I have to avoid the sun, dust, flowers, pets (it’s the first time I’m glad I don’t have one, cause how could I have kept my distance ?). I also limited my time in front of the computer/TV. And, of course… no make up for me either.

Owl Orange Day

Between the days I felt like all my energy was drained, and the days when the heat was almost unbearable, June passed by so quickly, I almost didn’t get the chance to say hello. Now I feel I could have done so much more with my time.

I will take tomorrow as a fresh new start, as a new chance to make July the fun summer month it’s supposed to be. Back in the school days, I remember it to be my favorite month – the month I could enjoy the summer holiday without having to think about anything else. I plan on doing just that: no over-thinking, or over-analyzing, keep it simple and fun ! That should be a challenge.

Much love for you, darlings Enjoy your summer week-end & have lots of fun in the sun!
