2012 Met Gala – Round Up Part II

The Night of the 1000 Dresses aka The 2012 Met Gala was filled with breathtaking moments, as the A-list Hollywood celebrities took on the Red Carpet looking flawless whilst embracing high fashion, true art and the unbeatable New York spirit.

2012-Met-Gala---02Tangerine was also a hit color on the celebrity filled Red Carpet last night (May 7).

Ginnifer Goodwin looked ultra feminine in her custom Monique Lhuillier tangerine silk chiffon cap sleeve creation, featuring a central slit and a beautiful beaded detailing on the upper bodice. Brian Atwood pumps which I’m not crazy about, H. Stern jewelry and a Tiffany & Co. clutch styled the appearance. Ginnifer opted to sport her sleek signature pixie cut and gorgeous make up.

Katharine McPhee sparkled amongst the important guests of the 2012 Met Gala as she was wearing a tangerine Georgette fully embroidered gown with a deep square neckline created by Elie Saab. An orange belt to accent the waist line, gold jewelry and a bronze Christian Louboutin Pliage clutch accessorized the bright look. Complementary make up and a chic up do finished off the look.

Kristen Bell stepped on the Red Carpet in a lovely floor length Tommy Hilfiger orange crinkle silk chiffon gown, that featured a crisscross halter neckline and waist ruching. Jimmy Choo heels, vintage Van Cleef and Arpels jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch in gold, complemented the perfect appearance. Shiny locks and minimal make-up provided the finishing touches.

Nina Dobrev – Sexy Black In Monique Lhuillier

On Saturday Night the beautiful actress Nina Dobrev attended The Ripple Effect Charity Dinner which was held at the Sunset Luxe Hotel, in Los Angeles. For this event she chose to wear a sexy yet sophisticated look from Monique Lhuillier’ Fall 2011 collection.

Nina Dobrev’ Red Carpet style is slowly “growing up” and after a ravishing appearance this September at the 2011 Emmy Awards in a red gown signed Donna Karan, things seem to be heading in the right direction.

Her black, long-sleeve dress with a bustier-style top and lace overlay was perfectly paired with the vibrant fuchsia version of the Brian Atwood Maniac pumps. Nina opted not to wear the velvet bow that separated the top from the pencil skirt on the original runway design and I’m glad she did so.

A side loose ponytail, a pink lip color and Neil Lane jewelry kept the overall look fresh and youthful.
