If we were to meet right now, I would probably say I don’t feel like the best company. I have a lot on my mind, and giving my predisposition to worry and stress, these past days have felt a little overwhelming. This explains my short absence on the blog and for as much as I would love to keep my two worlds separate, I’m not that good at compartmentalizing my feelings. I’m not that good at pretending either, so I’m sorry if I can’t keep this place happy, joyful and optimistic, at all times. The best things about today though, were the spring-like atmosphere, my fiance’s company and the sweet taste of coffee. I’ll always appreciate those! ♥
Usually, when I mix black with shades of grey for my daily outfits (which I tend to do a lot) and then I add something like a skull motif on top of it, I end up feeling like I look way too dark for my girly personality. That’s why today’s outfit was perfectly balanced by my lovely wedges and a cute little hair bow! I love playing with contrasts, especially during the times when I don’t feel like dressing up, because today was just one of those days. I blame it on the cold!
As I look down the window and I see all that white outside, I finally feel like Christmas is coming. Yesterday we had our first snow and it was magical, although it didn’t last all that much. Must love December ! It’s freezing cold, but it’s beyond beautiful. As usual, my days were filled with work hours as it’s quite a busy time of the year but I do try to make the best out of the little free time I am left with.
Reading too many fashion blogs and spending an awful amount of time on other related sites can sometimes be so overwhelming .The amount of inspiration I take in on daily bases it’s too large for my own good, as I constantly change my perspective and my view on what I would actually wear. Things used to be so simple a few years back when I hated dresses, skirts and heels ^_^
Brasov had so many wonderful places that would have been perfect for our little blog shoots and that are so incredibly charming. But due to the fact that I absolutely hate to take pictures having people around me, it doesn’t even matter if they’re looking at me or not, you can easily imagine how I tried my best to find the emptiest streets in a city filled with tourists ^_^
My salvation were these cute little streets, hidden between old buildings, a scenery that brought a little bit of a graffiti vibe to most of the pictures. I kind of like the colorful and fun result that you can discover below. Let me know what you think about my leopard print & stripes mixing. I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
Much love, O. ♥
By the time you’ll be reading this post I’ll be on my way to another lovely city ♥ Brasov ♥ where I’ll spend three lovely days under the warm sun of September. Brasov is also the place where my fiancee and I will be celebrating our birthday on Monday (yes, we are born on the same day, soulmates I tell you ♥) !
Since last weekend’s trip included time spent with family, I got some of my birthday presents a little bit earlier. I wanted to share some of the pretty things with you, since I’m excited to wear them on my getaway
Enjoy your last weekend of summer or your first fall weekend darlings & if you want to join my trip just follow me on instagram
Much love, O. ♥
I have always been a fan of the relaxed and simple elegance, that defines Spanish label Mango, and all throughout the years, they have never stopped delivering clothes that would make for a dream wardrobe.
For Spring 2012, Mango enlisted supermodel Kate Moss as the face of their newest campaign. Shot by photographer Terry Richardson and styled by Geraldine Saglio, Kate looked absolutely lovely, reflecting in images, what Mango is all about. My favorite looks, the second and the third, I would definitely go for that !
