Kristin Cavallari – This Means War Los Angeles Premiere

I might be slightly late with this look, but I couldn’t skip the second Maria Lucia Hohan Red Carpet appearance, this week, because yes, I’m still keeping track on who’s wearing MLH.

As Kristin Cavallari attended the Los Angeles Premiere for This Means War, she kept things simple and chic, by wearing a red mini signed by the Romanian designer.

By opting for the modified crepe de chine Anita dress, with long sleeves, Kristin gave up on the over-sized bow as waist detail. She paired the mini dress with the famous, nude Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Peep Toe pumps and a nude snakeskin clutch.

A high ponytail, red lips, black eyeliner and a pair of Isharya earrings, complemented the youthful and delicate look.

You can purchase this look, on the MLH shop, as the Anita dress is currently available in the outlet. A little red dress is a must for 2012!

2012 Must-Have – The Little Red Dress

It’s a brand new year, a fresh start, we already feel different and start planning for 2012, wishing to make some changes in our lives and maybe even our wardrobes (trends change and so do we). If you already started working on the “Essential Items for 2012 List” or the otherwise called “I Wish A Lot Of New Stuff This Year” I suggest you make some space on your list and in your closet, for one of the 2012’s must-haves : The Little Red Dress.

I’m not saying it will be replacing The Little Black Dress forever, but this year it could be an inspired choice for so many different events, saving us time and helping us look effortless chic.

Amongst the designers that introduced the little red dress for 2012 were : Elie Saab, Donna Karan, DKNY, Marc By Marc Jacobs, Naeem Khan and Carolina Herrera.

Those dresses are beautiful indeed but I don’t know, actually I do know, I’ll never have the chance to wear them outside my imagination that is. Luckily, we have other options to shine as bright as the stars do, but wearing ASOS, Romwe and Topshop as they are some of the most affordable and fashionable brands. My top 4 red ASOS picks are :

Not bad at all, right ? Let’s embrace this trend and look beautiful all throughout 2012, it’s a special year, I’m telling you. XO
