This week, Sophia Bush looked sensational in two very different designs. If I haven’t got the chance to write about the electric blue full length dress, she wore for the L.A. premiere of This Means War, the least I can do now, is point out how wonderful she looked whilst attending the (Belvedere) RED Pre-Grammys Party, rocking a Paule Ka dress.
The black leather belted mini dress, was figure-flattering, feminine, but sexy at the same time, the kind of perfect outfit, to wear at an elegant party. I’m really starting to develop a mild crush on everything leathery …so loving this outfit, doesn’t come as a surprise.
An Edie Parker Edie Confetti clutch, nude Brian Atwood pumps, two amazing Adeler cocktail rings and a pair of Sutra earrings, perfectly accessorized the black dress.
Beauty wise, Sophia kept it simple, sporting a sleek ponytail, glossy lips and metallic eyeshadow.
Watching Ashley Tisdale Out and About in the big city you can get pretty inspired by her everyday looks. The young actress/singer enjoys a youthful yet edgy style, that could perfectly fit any of us. Not having access to all the designer pieces in Ashely’s wardrobe (sadly), I searched for more affordable items that matched her sense of fashion.
Miss Tisdale was spotted last week wearing a complete Alice + Olivia look consisting of a Black Leather Pleated Skirt ($649.00), a pair of Java Wedge Boots in Wine color ($237.00 ) plus a Presley Cropped Sweater ($165.00 ). She accessorized with a black Chanel Quilted Bag and Chanel sunglasses.
For this look I came across with the following quasi similar items : TopShop – Knitted Stripe Bird Jumper ($84.00) ; Kocaniy Mode – Leather Pleats Skirt (only $32.00) ; ShoeDazzle – Aubrey Angle Boots In Red ($39.95) ; ASOS – ASOS Nude Quilted Lock Across Body Bag ($27.27) – unfortunately I couldn’t find one in black, that would have matched the Chanel Ashley is carrying perfectly.
So it’s pretty obvious that we don’t need to spend all the money in the world for a modern and edgy look.
With a little inspiration from our favorite stars, some twists and our own interpretation of fashion, we can be and look pretty cool.
Have a great week everybody! Five more days until Christmas (yay!) !
Only yesterday I was talking about the black leather leggings and how indispensable they seem to be this season. Today I’ll commit to leather once again by posting on what seems to be a not so new fashion crush : the beautiful leather skirt.
Worn by celebrities and seen on every city’s fashionable street, this skirt seems to have made it pretty far. Available in multiple colors, with different cuts and styles, made by so many brands, I’m sure there’s a leather skirt for every girl.
I’ll start off with my usual designer picks and honestly I love each and every one of these pieces :
A leather skirt could never go wrong – as seen on the streets :
