This past week my schedule has been filled to the brim and between work, wedding appointments, shopping and house chores, I didn’t even realize when the days flew by. Suffice to say I haven’t found the time to take pictures for an outfit post or attend the Feeric Fashion Days, although I had high hopes for both. I always knew the month before the wedding was going to be crazy, but I still planned on being around the blog for as much as possible. Sometimes I manage quite alright, at others I struggle and I end up feeling guilty.
In a perfect world, I would probably be doing it all, but if the past few days taught me anything is that I should really be taking things slow whenever possible and enjoy these moments as they are never coming back. So, no outfit today, but instead I decided to share with you little bits of life lately, a few goodies and I thought that maybe you missed Puss, who recently explored endless fields of grass for the first time, which somehow explains his terrified expression. Not so brave in the real world my sweet boy ♥ ♥ ♥
On the American Idol’s April 4th show, Jennifer Lopez looked absolutely wonderful, yet again, in what seems to be my favorite look of hers this season, but there’s still plenty of time for me to change my mind.
The AI judge’s super glam look centered around some amazing Lanvin pieces.
Her super chic gold and silver Lanvin printed silk-blend lamé maxi skirt, playfully finished with a paillette print and featuring a deep split at front, was teamed with a white semi-sheer Lanvin draped jersey top, featuring slightly exposed silk-satin shoulder pads.
The look was styled with a wide white belt and a pair of Lanvin leather, suede and wood platform sandals.
A Solange Azagury necklace, a CORA ring and Jennifer Zeuner crosses finished up the look.
While on her trip in Paris, the darling Jessica Alba attended the Lanvin presentation for Fall 2012, held during Paris Fashion Week. Looking classy and chic, Jess chose a Lanvin Spring 2012 dress for the fashionable event, and quite frankly, she couldn’t have gone wrong with it.
The black and white viscose crepe jersey mini dress, featured an intricate Swarovski Snake appliqué along the neckline and side, and a single puffed sleeve.
To style the dress, Jess opted for black pumps, diamond studs and a statement ring.
A messy bun, impeccable make-up and a deep-burgundy nail polish complimented the high-fashion look.
Thinking about way back when I first heard about Emma Stone, I wasn’t picturing myself becoming a huge fan of her style, but honestly, as time passes by, she makes it quite impossible not to follow.
As she attended the 2012 Academy Awards, Emma set the bar high on the Red Carpet, right from the moment she stepped in front of the photographers, posing in her beautiful Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture gown.
The floor length fuchsia halter gown, with an oversized bow detail, looked light and feminine, without it being too overwhelming. And no, I’m not going to draw any comparison to the Balenciaga dress, worn by Nicole Kidman at the 2007 Oscars. Everybody else did that already, and I find it quite unfair.
To style the dress, Emma opted for a colorful pair of Brian Atwood Karin platform sandals, from the Spring 2012 collection, and for a Lanvin Cord Link bracelet.
An embellished clutch, a chic bun and flawless make-up, finished up one of the most beautiful looks of the night.
Yes, another day, another Charlize Theron worth mentioning outfit, I hope it’s not too much for anybody, if so please bare with me.
On January 8, Charlize attended the Variety’s Indie Impact Award & 10 Directors To Watch Brunch, held during the 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival. She looked chic as she always does, this time wearing a Reed Krakoff Pre-Fall 2012 dress.
This gorgeous sleeveless Green Dress (more green please) with Leather Detail (more leather please), was paired with Christian Louboutin Anna sandals for some high shine and the Lanvin Miss Sartorial Wristlet, for an effortless yet lovely day look.
Gold jewelry, a low ponytail with loose tendrils and a bright glossy lip color completed the look. Simple yet so effective, just the way it should be.
On December 19, Tom Cruise premiered his latest movie Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City, after making his way back from an international tour promoting the movie.
For this occasion the lovely Katie Holmes decided to show her support by making a Red Carpet appearance alongside her husband.
Wearing a design from her own label Holmes & Yang, Katie impressed in this navy long-sleeve swiss dot dress. She accentuated the elegant look by wearing black sheer tights and a pair of black Lanvin H11 Satin Pumps.
Beauty wise Katie opted for a touch of shimmering navy liner and a chic ponytail.
I loved the fact that Katie was classy beautiful without trying to steal the show as she was only a guest on the Red Carpet and I would have loved the look even more had the dress been a tiny bit shorter.
