Kate Hudson has the power to light up a room with only her smile and for the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner she stole the spotlight in a sparkly creation signed by the British fashion designer Jenny Packham.
The floor-length purple sequin high neck gown with black beaded cuffs was teamed with black Brian Atwood Maniac Quilted Patent Leather pumps and a black pearlescent Edie Parker Lara clutch.
A pair of stunning black teardrop earrings and a chic voluminous bun complemented the elegant appearance.
Whoever missed the adorable Kate Hudson lately, myself included of course, must have really been excited as she arrived at the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. And she came back in style, wearing a red Vintage Versace gown, that only accentuated her glowing.
The bright red tasseled gown, with a beaded bodice, a low cut back and an illusion neckline, was teamed with the Christian Louboutin Lady Peep pumps and styled with Tiffany and Co. diamond jewelry.
Natural wavy hair and a natural toned make-up completed the ravishing look. I only hope that now, when she signed to release a new movie, we’ll get to see her more often.
On the same Blue Carpet, at the same 2011 British Fashion Awards that took place in London last night, I saw my sweet darling Kate Hudson (<3). She might not have been a “blowing away” appearance, but I felt for this endearing, minimal yet so elegant look, created by her longtime friend designer Stella McCartney.
Kate chose simplicity all the way by merely accessorizing this one shoulder, floor-length gown, letting the side detailing of the gown be the center of attention. I still would have loved to see a pair of beautiful earrings together with this dress.
How inspired was Kate to chose Stella McCartney ?
