July’s Gone

Can you believe it is already 2nd of August today? Me neither! But this is right about that time when I become a little bit sad for the half-gone summer, and a little more excited for the approaching days of September. I don’t know how you feel about it, but I absolutely adore September – and celebrating my birthday at the beginning of Fall has nothing to do with it.

Before I enter my nostalgic mood – way ahead of schedule – I thought I’d make a small recap of my favorite celebrity off-duty looks today, looks that caught my attention during the hot month of July. I haven’t got the opportunity to write about them yet, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t kept an eye opened.

Be sure to enjoy what’s left of this summer, I know I will! Until my next post, all the love in the world

Celebrity Summer Style – Kate Bosworth

When it comes to fashion and styling, you may already know that after many years, I still love to get my fix of new ideas and inspiration, from the celebrity “world”. Of course, over these same years, I’ve developed certain preferences, I fell in love with a number of stars, I have found my favorite designers and came across a series of inspiring ladies, that soon became true fashion icons.

Kate Bosworth is amongst the celebrities that I hold dear to my heart due to her uncomplicated, chic, effortless and always feminine aesthetics. Her street style feels fresh, natural and above all, easy to pull off.

Mixing Asos and Topshop, with Isabel Marant and Mulberry key pieces for example, Kate is an on-going inspiration, especially during summer. How do you feel about miss Bosworth?

Much love, darlings

Celebrity Fashion Crush – Denim On Denim

The fact that denim is so in (whether it was ever out of style) right now is no longer a surprise . It’s actually a quite refreshing, wearable and smart trend, for those who care to wear it, of course ! But lately, celebrities have been pushing this style one step further, as they are now casually pairing denim… with denim.

Even if it looks quite simple to wear, to actually wear denim on denim right, it’s not such an easy task, especially if you want to avoid walking around in the so called Canadian tuxedo.

Sporting a relaxed fashion on her free time, many might say way too relaxed, Charlize Theron was recently spotted wearing denim on denim, and she wore it right. In order to avoid the look from becoming to mathcy-matchy, one must always mix denims of different hues, in this case the lighter denim of the shirt, was paired with dark skinny jeans.

Even style icon Kate Bosworth seems to enjoy this emerging trend, throwing a simple white tank in the mix and being careful to balance the look – she teamed an ombre loose buttoned shirt, with fitted skinny jeans. Cause not everybody enjoys a baggy outfit.

Rihanna must do everything her way, and we love that about the successful singer. Her particular look mixes a lightweight denim shirt, with bleached denim spike-studded rhinestone cutoff shorts, layering another denim shirt, tied around the waist and tucked into the shorts. Too much ?

As for the accessories, you cannot go wrong with sunglasses and boots, either ankle boots, knee-length or as seen on Rihanna, the Christian Louboutin Sea.nn Girl thigh-high leather boots.

Finishing touches: Charlize styled her look with a Christian Dior Cannage Medium tote, Kate added JewelMint accessories, whilst Rihanna opted for a cool Trapstar Dream Team cap.

How do you feel about this trend ? Would you wear it ? Let me know, XO

London Fashion Week – Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 Front Row

Besides the exciting number of fashion shows going off on the runways these past couple of weeks, the front row attendees of these events, offered an interesting sight all on their own.

This is always the case for the Burberry presentations, and the one that took place on February 20, during London Fashion Week, was no exception. To find out what I loved about the Fall 2012 collection, check in on the blog later or tomorrow.

Front row favorites: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kate Bosworth

Choosing a look from a Burberry Prorsum collection, should be a total delight, as the prestigious 1856 brand, never ceases to deliver English elegance at its best. Easy to tell, I’m a fan.

Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley chose to stay worm and comfortable with a Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2012 look, sporting a camel short sleeved bow sweater, a maroon pair of velvet trousers, a fur collar Herringbone jacket, whilst she accessorized the Fashion Week look with an oversized Burberry bag.

The lovely Kate Bosworth, was spotted at Hyde Park, ready to attend the Burberry Fall 2012 show, wearing another look from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The actress opted for a mid-length tweed skirt with a bow detail at the waist, that she teamed with a grey owl print sweater and brown ankle boots, from the same collection.

These two looks, might not resemble our usual glamorous and sparkly Red Carpet gowns, but I believe they are indubitable soft and elegant, just as much as they are a fresh reminder of the chilly weather outside.
