The Night of the 1000 Dresses aka The 2012 Met Gala was filled with breathtaking moments, as the A-list Hollywood celebrities took on the Red Carpet looking flawless whilst embracing high fashion, true art and the unbeatable New York spirit.
Tangerine was also a hit color on the celebrity filled Red Carpet last night (May 7).
Ginnifer Goodwin looked ultra feminine in her custom Monique Lhuillier tangerine silk chiffon cap sleeve creation, featuring a central slit and a beautiful beaded detailing on the upper bodice. Brian Atwood pumps which I’m not crazy about, H. Stern jewelry and a Tiffany & Co. clutch styled the appearance. Ginnifer opted to sport her sleek signature pixie cut and gorgeous make up.
Katharine McPhee sparkled amongst the important guests of the 2012 Met Gala as she was wearing a tangerine Georgette fully embroidered gown with a deep square neckline created by Elie Saab. An orange belt to accent the waist line, gold jewelry and a bronze Christian Louboutin Pliage clutch accessorized the bright look. Complementary make up and a chic up do finished off the look.
Kristen Bell stepped on the Red Carpet in a lovely floor length Tommy Hilfiger orange crinkle silk chiffon gown, that featured a crisscross halter neckline and waist ruching. Jimmy Choo heels, vintage Van Cleef and Arpels jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch in gold, complemented the perfect appearance. Shiny locks and minimal make-up provided the finishing touches.
I had a different series of posts scheduled for today, but as it happens I couldn’t just ignore the main event that took place this weekend – the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner – so I guess I can call this a change of plans.
A big list of celebrities, a sumptuous Red Carpet and gorgeous gowns … how could I have missed on that? Ginnifer Goodwin attended the big event that took place at the Washington Hilton on April 28, looking beautiful in a H&M Gown from the Conscious Collection.
The light grey silk and organic cotton full-length dress, features a sleeveless bodice in woven, textured fabric and a skirt section with asymmetrical raw-edge ruffles.
Ginnifer styled the dress with a black belt, gold jewelry and a gold mini clutch.
Her signature pixie cut and daring red lips provided the finishing touches.
If this is not your very first time reading this blog, you already now by know that last winter , or should I say this winter … no … let’s stick to last winter, I have developed a crush on anything leathery.
This passion, that still feels actual, is enough reason for me to LOVE the black leather dress Ginnifer Goodwin rocked during her appearance on Extra, on March 2. She is promoting her current series, Once Upon a Time, and looked amazing in the Shoshanna dress.
The black leather sleeveless dress, featuring a full pleated skirt and side pockets (cute) will become available once the Shoshanna’s Fall 2012 collection will be released.
To brighten up the look, Ginnifer wore this amazing pair of orange Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, and a statement color block bracelet, mixing cream and orange.
The edgy look was completed by the adorable pixie cut, the gold studs and the sexy sweeps of black liquid liner. *Sigh*
It’s that time of the week again, because on Sunday we vote for our favorite look of the week. I would appreciate it if you would take the time and cast your vote. I’m curious as to whom impressed you this week, XO.

Poll closed. Thanks again for voting. XO
The lovely Ginnifer Goodwin wore one of my favorite Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2012 dresses, at yesterday’s 2012 People’s Choice Awards, held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Her current series, Once Upon A Time, was nominated for Favorite New TV Drama, but sadly lost to Person of Interest tv show.
The neon pink Spring 2012 RTW 1960 inspired Margot Dress, with simple, chic lines, was interesting paired with the Jimmy Choo Kyrle Ankle Boots and a black Kzeniya Wild Envelope Clutch.
Subtle finger waves for hairstyle and Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry completed the charming look.
