I cannot picture a better day for me to do this quick Red Carpet fashion recap, than this chilly Sunday, with its moody Sun playing peek-a-boo up in the sky !
Yesterday night, Los Angeles, California hosted the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards at Galen Center, celebrating Hollywood stars who are popular amongst teenage and young viewers of the Nickelodeon cable TV network.
Emma Stone, who’s sporting blonde locks again, attended the event wearing a chic ensemble from the Antonio Berardi Fall 2012 collection.
Even if the bright hair color, the pale make up and the soft colored outfit might make the entire look feel a little faded, I do love the two-tone blush top and draped-skirt Emma chose to wear.
I feel that this full-flared skirt suit was event appropriate and looked effortless when paired with the Alejandro Ingelmo Gilda Wedge sandals.
Soft curls, minimal make-up and minimal jewelry kept this look simple and clean.
How do you feel about Emma’s choices? Was it enough for the event?
Thinking about way back when I first heard about Emma Stone, I wasn’t picturing myself becoming a huge fan of her style, but honestly, as time passes by, she makes it quite impossible not to follow.
As she attended the 2012 Academy Awards, Emma set the bar high on the Red Carpet, right from the moment she stepped in front of the photographers, posing in her beautiful Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture gown.
The floor length fuchsia halter gown, with an oversized bow detail, looked light and feminine, without it being too overwhelming. And no, I’m not going to draw any comparison to the Balenciaga dress, worn by Nicole Kidman at the 2007 Oscars. Everybody else did that already, and I find it quite unfair.
To style the dress, Emma opted for a colorful pair of Brian Atwood Karin platform sandals, from the Spring 2012 collection, and for a Lanvin Cord Link bracelet.
An embellished clutch, a chic bun and flawless make-up, finished up one of the most beautiful looks of the night.
On February 23, Emma Stone was back on the Red Carpet alongside her co-stars form The Help, and looked delightful in white, as she attended the 5th Annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. For the event, she opted to wear an Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture dress.
The precious white embroidered half-sleeved cocktail dress, with a bow accent on the waist and a cut-out back, was paired with nude Brian Atwood Wagner pumps.
A pair of Van Cleef & Arpels yellow gold frivole earclips and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, accessorized the glamourous look.
Emma opted to style her wavy hair in a half up half down updo and completed the angelic look, with a sheer berry-pink lipstick.
This cold Sunday, is meant to be spent in bed, watching lots of TV series, maybe even a good movie, or enjoying a great book. Anything relaxing and fun, that doesn’t require a lot of energy. But Sunday also means that it’s time to vote for our favorite look of the week, and there have been some really pretty appearances these past days.
Please let me know your thoughts on this week’s fashion, by taking the time to vote, it would be wonderful. I wish you all an amazing Sunday ! XO
Week 006 – January 30 – February 05, 2012
With such an amazing start for the Fashion during the Awards Season, given by the the Golden Globes earlier this month, the Red Carpet for the 2012 SAG Awards, left me a tidy bit disappointed. In a sea of either black or white gowns, I hardly found a few looks that didn’t fail to impress me, from ladies who remembered that this is the time to really shine.
Emma Stone, who usually loves a beautiful colorful gown, attended the 2012 SAG Awards wearing a black Alexander McQueen Pre -Fall 2012 dress.
The actress brought life to this Pre-Fall 2012 tea length gown with an exploding lace bustier, pairing it with the Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2012 clutch and black Alexander McQueen heels. Her million dollar smile was the best accessory though.
Tiffany & Co. Paloma’s Venezia Luce Gold & Diamond Earrings, Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. rings, a smooth, polished up-do and flawless make-up, completed this modern take on the 50s look.
We had a beautiful Red Carpet Week and it deserves a big, happy ending. In order for that to happen, I need you, to vote for your favorite look, it only takes two seconds.
Thank you again and let’s begin choosing a winner. XO
Week 004 – January 16 – January 22, 2012
Emma Stone attended the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards wearing a beautiful Lanvin Custom creation, that complemented both her skin and her red locks, for a wow moment on the Red Carpet.
The wine and rasberry V-necked gown was embellished by a Lanvin Spring 2012 belt and paired with the Lanvin Spring 2012 Opanca crystal embellished platform sandals.
Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a black Cartier clutch completed the look whilst smokey eyes, black liner and a mass of pinned curls with side-swept bangs, added the finishing touches.
