We are back home and needless to say, I fell in love with Budapest, like I already knew I would. Just like I know that I will irremediably fall for every beautiful city I will ever get the chance to explore, leaving a tiny piece of me behind in each and every one of them. I love the feeling of walking the streets not knowing what to expect, I loved the oh-so-delicious food and I was completely enchanted by the beautiful Danube. I could have easily spent all day walking near the water, enjoying the view or going on endless boat trips.
As for my outfits for the trip, I knew I would need comfort before anything else, but I also wanted something that would make me feel just as great. The weather was perfect for pants, shirts or sweaters so I took advantage. After all, fall is my favourite season. I’ll leave you with the pictures now. Lots of love ♥
My plans for the week included an outfit post (guess I was extra optimistic), which should have been followed by my personal wishlist for the upcoming fall. But due to the fact that we are leaving for Budapest early in the morning, the past week was spent marking deadlines for work, running errands and basically getting ready for these very few days of rest. The rainy afternoons didn’t help much either, not that I’m actually complaining. As I’m writing this post, I know am already behind with packing so I’ll try to be very quick.
The following list contains basically all that I dream to add to my wardrobe now that fall is slowly approaching. I imagine clean silhouettes, gorgeous splashes of color and a few accessories that will count as much. Hope you like my choices. Also, feel free to tag along on Instagram and Twitter during my trip for more updates. I’ll make sure to come back with lost of beautiful pictures. Until then, all my love and have a great weekend!
After a magical Friday spent in the company of one of my best friends ♥, my Saturday morning started off with a delicious fruity breakfast, followed by a quick play-time round with Puss, who’s getting more and more adorable each day. It was exactly what I needed in order to be able to concentrate on work during the following hours. And in a short break between articles, I wanted to share with you some of the pictures we took on Thursday. It was a windy and cold day, but we had fun shooting, and I guess it shows.
Yes, I finally got to wear my beloved burgundy leather skirt the other evening and today I get to show you how I styled it. The pictures were taken in a bit of a rush, due to the fact that by the time we walked out the door it was already getting pretty dark outside. Quite frustrating if you ask me! Or, maybe I should move my blogging activities to sometime early in the morning. I would like to see that one happen.
Hello everybody! Sorry for the lack of posts these past couple of days, but since getting back yesterday, I was hardly able to find any free time to catch up on everything I’m supposed to. Not to mention how super-tired I feel right now. I guess that’s what happens when you’re having too much fun! The wedding was wonderful, so was the little time I got to actually spend home, so thank you for your wishes Now it’s time to get back on track with work, blogging and the other daily adventures I love so much.
After witnessing so many winter and snow photos on the other blogs this week, I quickly panicked. So this Sunday, I took the opportunity to enjoy the fall scenery one more time, because honestly I don’t think it will last all that long. And I am so not ready for winter, although I should get used to the idea of cold and snow right about now. At least I will have Christmas to keep my mind occupied over the next months, and that I do love. Have a beautiful week and a Happy (Spooky) Halloween for those of you celebrating it!
