The Night of the 1000 Dresses aka The 2012 Met Gala was filled with breathtaking moments, as the A-list Hollywood celebrities took on the Red Carpet looking flawless whilst embracing high fashion, true art and the unbeatable New York spirit.
Tangerine was also a hit color on the celebrity filled Red Carpet last night (May 7).
Ginnifer Goodwin looked ultra feminine in her custom Monique Lhuillier tangerine silk chiffon cap sleeve creation, featuring a central slit and a beautiful beaded detailing on the upper bodice. Brian Atwood pumps which I’m not crazy about, H. Stern jewelry and a Tiffany & Co. clutch styled the appearance. Ginnifer opted to sport her sleek signature pixie cut and gorgeous make up.
Katharine McPhee sparkled amongst the important guests of the 2012 Met Gala as she was wearing a tangerine Georgette fully embroidered gown with a deep square neckline created by Elie Saab. An orange belt to accent the waist line, gold jewelry and a bronze Christian Louboutin Pliage clutch accessorized the bright look. Complementary make up and a chic up do finished off the look.
Kristen Bell stepped on the Red Carpet in a lovely floor length Tommy Hilfiger orange crinkle silk chiffon gown, that featured a crisscross halter neckline and waist ruching. Jimmy Choo heels, vintage Van Cleef and Arpels jewels, and a Judith Leiber clutch in gold, complemented the perfect appearance. Shiny locks and minimal make-up provided the finishing touches.
Kate Hudson has the power to light up a room with only her smile and for the 2012 White House Correspondents’ Dinner she stole the spotlight in a sparkly creation signed by the British fashion designer Jenny Packham.
The floor-length purple sequin high neck gown with black beaded cuffs was teamed with black Brian Atwood Maniac Quilted Patent Leather pumps and a black pearlescent Edie Parker Lara clutch.
A pair of stunning black teardrop earrings and a chic voluminous bun complemented the elegant appearance.
Safe – one of the three action movies starring Jason Statham scheduled to be released in 2012, premiered last night in New York City.
The 44 year old actor was joined on the Red Carpet by his beautiful girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Rosie looked radiant wearing an Andrew Gn Spring 2012 number.
The white brocade halter-neck mini dress, with ornate beaded detailing at the neck and waistline, was accented by the watercolor blue Brian Atwood pumps.
Rosie kept the look elegant by accessorizing with classic Miriam Haskell and Annina Vogel jewelry and a gold Diane von Furstenberg clutch.
A sleek up do and pink lips provided the finishing touches.
Earlier this week, actress Rose Byrne attended the Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Fun Fearless Awards 2012. The Damages actress looked lovely wearing a Chanel Spring 2012 look.
The darling lambskin sleeveless dress, with light colored organza ribbon appliques was teamed with the nude patent Brian Atwood Maniac pumps and an aquamarine H.Stern bracelet.
Beauty wise, Rose opted to wear her bob subtly curled under and went for a make-up mixing soft shades of grey and blue. I think she looks wonderful.
Thinking about way back when I first heard about Emma Stone, I wasn’t picturing myself becoming a huge fan of her style, but honestly, as time passes by, she makes it quite impossible not to follow.
As she attended the 2012 Academy Awards, Emma set the bar high on the Red Carpet, right from the moment she stepped in front of the photographers, posing in her beautiful Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture gown.
The floor length fuchsia halter gown, with an oversized bow detail, looked light and feminine, without it being too overwhelming. And no, I’m not going to draw any comparison to the Balenciaga dress, worn by Nicole Kidman at the 2007 Oscars. Everybody else did that already, and I find it quite unfair.
To style the dress, Emma opted for a colorful pair of Brian Atwood Karin platform sandals, from the Spring 2012 collection, and for a Lanvin Cord Link bracelet.
An embellished clutch, a chic bun and flawless make-up, finished up one of the most beautiful looks of the night.
I should definitely be working right now, as it’s getting really late, but as I eagerly await for the Oscar ceremony to kick off, with its highly anticipated Red Carpet, I feel that I should at least finish what I started.
Following Kate Beckinsale’s perfect appearance, Zoe Saldana was a close second favorite, as she took on the Red Carpet at the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards, on February 25. She showcased her amazing figure, in a Balmain Spring 2012 dress … mini dress that is.
The sexy floral number, with metallic gold print accents and structured shoulders, had a surprising feature in its opened back. Brian Atwood Zenith pumps in nude, styled the fun and lively dress.
With no accessories at sight, Zoe went for simple wavy curls as a hairstyle and finished the look with sheer glossy lipstick. I always love a bold Balmain look, but not everyone can pull it off; luckily, for Zoe that wasn’t an option.
This week, Sophia Bush looked sensational in two very different designs. If I haven’t got the chance to write about the electric blue full length dress, she wore for the L.A. premiere of This Means War, the least I can do now, is point out how wonderful she looked whilst attending the (Belvedere) RED Pre-Grammys Party, rocking a Paule Ka dress.
The black leather belted mini dress, was figure-flattering, feminine, but sexy at the same time, the kind of perfect outfit, to wear at an elegant party. I’m really starting to develop a mild crush on everything leathery …so loving this outfit, doesn’t come as a surprise.
An Edie Parker Edie Confetti clutch, nude Brian Atwood pumps, two amazing Adeler cocktail rings and a pair of Sutra earrings, perfectly accessorized the black dress.
Beauty wise, Sophia kept it simple, sporting a sleek ponytail, glossy lips and metallic eyeshadow.
