My plans for the week included an outfit post (guess I was extra optimistic), which should have been followed by my personal wishlist for the upcoming fall. But due to the fact that we are leaving for Budapest early in the morning, the past week was spent marking deadlines for work, running errands and basically getting ready for these very few days of rest. The rainy afternoons didn’t help much either, not that I’m actually complaining. As I’m writing this post, I know am already behind with packing so I’ll try to be very quick.
The following list contains basically all that I dream to add to my wardrobe now that fall is slowly approaching. I imagine clean silhouettes, gorgeous splashes of color and a few accessories that will count as much. Hope you like my choices. Also, feel free to tag along on Instagram and Twitter during my trip for more updates. I’ll make sure to come back with lost of beautiful pictures. Until then, all my love and have a great weekend!
For me, throwing on a cap and a pair of sneakers comes easy and has nothing to do with trends. I just love wearing super comfortable clothes and I would do it all the time if the other half of me wouldn’t long for some femininity, romance or edge from time to time. Safe to assume that I love experimenting with fashion and if a few years back I would have said no to a lot of ideas, now I’m more inclined to say that I would try anything, at least once, to just know how it feels if for nothing else.
These past days have felt better and lighter, I’ve enjoyed every moment of my free time watching series with my boy, cuddled up in bed, with a hot chocolate or coffee in front, and tasty cookies nearby. We also made a list of delicious restaurant we wanted to try out and our culinary adventure started off this Sunday, I mean one could say I eat a lot right about now, but really what’s a cold month without comforting food and yummy desserts? And speaking about food, it would be an appropriate moment to start exercising again!
I don’t know exactly why, but apparently I am being drawn back towards black as of lately. Maybe the freezing weather or the moody winter sky influenced my most recent switch of direction, but this is what I feel like wearing every day now. Black, black, some gray, some white and then black again. Oh well, I guess it’s just another phase that once gone, will allow me to fully enjoy lively colors again, hopefully soon.
Five days it’s a long time for me to go without a new post and I apologize for the lack of activity here on the blog lately. But since I’m experiencing what might be the busiest time of the year for me, filled with deadlines, projects, to-do lists, visits to the vet and so on, I can hardly find any time to relax, much less to go out and take pictures. I guess I just haven’t figured out the perfect way to balance it all yet, that’s why some days I manage to complete everything with success, while others I feel like the more I do, the farther I get from having it it all rounded. Does that even make sense to you?
For once. Needless to say, I feel a whole lot more comfortable being a girlie girl, but from time to time I love to switch things up and play a little, especially with black and leather. I know I promised to post this on Monday, but my week started rather busy and by the time I finished with work, I just felt the need to lie in bed, watch my favorite shows and indulge in some cookies.
I’m still not sure how I feel about Vanessa Hudgens’s take on fashion, but what I do know, is that almost everytime I come across to an image showcasing her casual, off-duty style, I feel the need to save it, for later inspiration.
