I cannot picture a better day for me to do this quick Red Carpet fashion recap, than this chilly Sunday, with its moody Sun playing peek-a-boo up in the sky !
Yesterday night, Los Angeles, California hosted the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards at Galen Center, celebrating Hollywood stars who are popular amongst teenage and young viewers of the Nickelodeon cable TV network.
Emma Stone, who’s sporting blonde locks again, attended the event wearing a chic ensemble from the Antonio Berardi Fall 2012 collection.
Even if the bright hair color, the pale make up and the soft colored outfit might make the entire look feel a little faded, I do love the two-tone blush top and draped-skirt Emma chose to wear.
I feel that this full-flared skirt suit was event appropriate and looked effortless when paired with the Alejandro Ingelmo Gilda Wedge sandals.
Soft curls, minimal make-up and minimal jewelry kept this look simple and clean.
How do you feel about Emma’s choices? Was it enough for the event?
I didn’t realize how much I love the Antonio Berardi Spring 2012 collection , up until now, when I found myself yet again, instantly charmed by one of his Spring looks. Figuring out this is the sort of reaction I get every single time I see one of his designs, it all became quite obvious. Talk about revelations 😀
Taking on the Red Carpet for the 2012 ELLE Style Awards, the superb model, turned Transformers actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, looked her best in an, as previously mentioned, Antonio Berardi Spring 2012 dress.
The pale patent leather embroidered sheer dress, with metallic accents, had a high-in-front, long-in-back train silhouette, that made the entire look seem so airily.
Following the neutral tones, Rossie completed her look with satin Sergio Rossi Profile ankle sandals and a nude marbeled Edie Parker Lara clutch.
Irene Neuwirth earrings, bright pink lips and a simple straightened pinned back hairstyle, complemented the ethereal look.
You can easily tell, she was the best dressed at the stylish event.
Winter is a great season for gathering with your girlfriends, talk about everything or anything whilst drinking a cup of hot tea (or hot chocolate in my case). Think of a warm cozy place and then imagine yourself relaxed, sitting comfortable but of course looking great. That’s the main inspiration for today’s OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) : a look meant to keep warm, look good, feel good.
I chose all of my items from NET-A-PORTER only because it feels like the dream closet : full of everything hip, high-end and extremely diverse. But all of these items can be easily replaced (I hope) with the ones from our own wardrobe, so that shouldn’t stop you from trying.
I used : Jonathan Saunders – Fair Isle knitted cotton sweater; Miu Miu – Matelassé leather bag; Rag & Bone – Portobello washed-leather shorts; Falke – Pure Matt 100 denier black tights; Antonio Berardi – Oversized shearling coat; Jimmy Choo – Youth leather biker boots.
Looks pretty cozy doesn’t it ?
I hope you enjoyed this post.
