I will end today’s Red Carpet posting with a little bit of a different look, that to be honest, I didn’t even knew I would like, as I didn’t like it on the runway. I’m talking about Shailene Woodley‘s minimalist Calvin Klein Resort 2012 look, that was a major hit at the 2012 Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards. I’m not even surprised.
For as much as I love simplicity in a gown, I always felt that the minimal looks were a little bit boring, but that feeling it’s slowly starting to change. The grey silk floor length Halter-Neck Gown Shailene wore, had a gentle softness to it and a subtle elegance, that I found to be inspiring.
Luckily she kept the minimal all throughout the styling as well, as she was spotted without any jewelry, a very natural make-up and a long straight cut.
The 2012 Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards was a delightful event, at least when it comes to the Red Carpet fashion. One beautiful gown after another and it was really impossible not to fall for at least one look. I personally felt for several and Emma Stone wore, what must be by now, my third favorite dress at this event.
Wearing the second look from this collection, after the Zoe Saldana number at the Golden Globes Week 2012 Kick Off, Emma looked stunning in this floor length green and navy print gown.
With side-swept bangs and soft tendrils framing her face, a pair of Sydney Evan Black-Rhodium & Sapphire Hoops and a flawless makeup, the redhead beauty looked amazing.
Holding on to the sunny yellow, we move on with another stunning appearance, made at yesterday’s 2012 Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards, this time by the beautiful Diane Kruger. She opted to wear a modified version of a Prada Spring 2012 dress.
The retro glam Halter Pleated Gown was paired with Prada dark grey leather strappy sandals and a Chanel Premiere Pave Diamond Watch for the ultimate ladylike style.
A bright pink lip color that matched the bright pink clutch, went great against the light shades of yellow and grey in the dress.
An elegant windswept updo completed the look.
I thought we should take on this Friday with a little bit of color and for that reason, I chose Elizabeth Olsen‘s appearance on the Red Carpet, at the 2012 Annual Critics Choice Awards, to be the one that brightens up the day. I loved how wonderful she looked in the Emilio Pucci Spring 2012 edgy dress.
The `70 inspired yellow print “sexy but classy” sillouethe was paired with nude Emilio Pucci Spring 2012 Peep-Toe sandals, whilst for jewelry Elizabeth chose a MEUS Designs Blackened Silver & White Sapphire Eternity Band plus a Kara Ackerman Antique Alice Rose Beryl & Diamond Ring.
Some soft spiral curls and barely there make-up completed this bright look.
