Finally a Red Carpet Event for today with the 2011 ARIA Music Awards taking place at Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia. With black nearly dominating the event, two looks still caught my eye despite the not so bright color display.
My favorite gown was worn by aussie singer Delta Goodrem, who looked beautiful in a full length, navy lace dress offering a little glimpse at the nude sexy mini from underneath.
The high-necked sleeveless gown belongs to Australian fashion designer Lisa Ho. The only thing I didn’t quite like was the hair style as you may recall me saying I’m not crazy about this messy looking bedhead hair on the Red Carpet.
What about the dress ? Stunning or not ?
Besides an interesting plot line and having two “Sarah Michelle Gellars”, the Ringer series displays some pretty good fashion along with the overflowing suspense. Siobhan Martin’s high end New York style is built upon the great designs of Miu Miu, Chloe, Valentino, Chanel and Gucci.
Adopting Siobhan’s love for dramatic gowns and her impeccable taste when it comes to statement jewelry, Sarah Michelle has never looked better. The show is definitely worth watching and I cannot wait to see what’s next. Be sure to check this category as I am pretty convinced that we will see more of SMG and her glamorous character.
How do you feel about SMG’s new sense of style ? Love it or not ?
Eva Herzigova was spotted at the Vertu Constellation Launch Party last night. She was wearing a perfect combination of Azzedine Alaia’s both Spring and Fall collections.
The drop-waisted dress was paired with a black leather jacket, black tights and black ankle boots. Seems like we must welcome the drop waist in out wardrobe this season.
The sun is out today, shining, but it doesn’t fool me. It’s still pretty cold outside and I started thinking of all the pretty accessories we get to wear this season. I’m not big on hats and beanies, even if I know I should “protect” my head somehow :D, but I do love gloves, mittens and scarves, a girl could never have too many of those.

Considering that my blog is only one week old (<3), it’s only natural to admit that along this year I have missed on some beautiful and important events. And since there hasn’t been much activity on the Red Carpet these last two days, at least not something I really liked, I thought I’d make some space for Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 collection, shown during Paris Fashion Week. I woke up craving for something glamorous. Below you will find some of the gowns I loved.
Feminine and strong, just like us girls ! If you want to see more looks, be sure to check Oteea Land’s page on Facebook 😉
I couldn’t help but notice that some celebrities have developed a certain crush for the grey sweater these days.
Maybe it’s because the sweater is a must-have item for the season and grey goes well with… almost everything.
Let’s get inspired !
What do you think about the grey sweater ? I definitely like it a lot.
Until today, I have never heard the name of Ulyana Sergeenko. But searching for some pictures with her wearing a beautiful Elie Saab <3 gown, I came across with what seems to be the designer’s debut collection for Fall/Winter 2011-2012.
The Russian photographer and fashionista took the 40’s aesthetic as the main source of inspiration and the result is a powerful, exciting and feminine collection that I fell in love with. I’m glad this is only the debut. So one more name to remeber : Ulyana Sergeenko.
