It’s Not The World That’s Changing
… I guess it’s me. Yesterday, I finally got the chance to enjoy some beautiful hours under a warm sun and it was such a bliss – have I told you it’s been raining like crazy for the past three weeks? Where are the hot summer days, so I can start complaining about the heat and the melting ice-creams? Hopefully, just around the corner.
I love a long walk on a sunny day like yesterday was, especially when it’s followed by a delicious coffee and light shopping, sadly I didn’t have enough patience to try anything on, that happens a lot with me. But I ended up buying a pair of high-heels that will be perfect for the summer, part of me changing and trying new things – even uncomfortable pairs of shoes – yeah, if it’s not flat, it usually means it’s uncomfortable. But since I love heels so much on other people, it’s time to accept that a fashionable life requires small sacrifices.
I’m in a time of my life, when I feel that with everyday passing by I change just a little bit more, in small but fundamental ways. For as much as I’m enjoying this natural stage, the moment my wardrobe started feeling like a crisis, the first hint that things were changing, didn’t feel so great. Now, I’m slowly building a new style, that I’d better still be loving in a couple of years. I’m excited to be looking back here, a year from now, to actually witness the changes.
