Christian Louboutin Vs. ShoeDazzle

Girls love shoes, that’s a fact, girls also love Christian Louboutin, who doesn’t, but girls can’t always afford the heels of their dreams, so what do you do when that happens ? You try to compromise, search for similar type of shoes, from more affordable brands. The main idea here, is to look fabulous, without spending little fortunes that we don’t own anyway, just for proving a point.

To give you a specific example, I always liked the Maggie 140 Pumps, a celebrity favorite pair of shoes, but not the most affordable one :

You can invest around $550/$650 in one of these pairs, or any of the other versions available, or you can settle for these ones :

They’re not exactly the same, of course, but you do get what inspired ShoeDazzle this time.

The Amour sells for only $39.95 a pair, so that means about $500/$600 saved, pretty cool for a budget, huh ?

Too bad they currently ship only in U.S. territories and Canada. I really liked the nude+brown Amour version.

Decisions, decisions … but at least, we are offered the opportunity to choose what’s important for us.

No.001 – Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Peep Toe Pumps

World Of A. ( A. coming from Accessories) is our newest category, created mainly because if you are passionate about fashion like I am, then you too must love to see how a pair of shoes, a bag, a necklace, a pair of glasses or all those combined could take the simplest outfit to new heights.

Taking every piece of accessory by itself, we are going to follow the trends directly on our favorite celebs and see how inspiring they might get.

The first post is dedicated to the Christian Louboutin’s Lady Peep Peep Toe Pumps mania – described as 5 1/2″ covered heel with 1 1/4″ revealed platform and seen on every woman who loves a beautiful pair of nudes (they actually come in a variety of colors, but I love this particular nude patent leather pair ).

Let’s now see who wore them best :

Serinda Swan paired the pumps with a white belted mini dress at the Audi Kicks Off The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards Week 2011 back in September, whilst Nicole Scherzinger wore the the pumps at the Labor Day Weekend Celebration, matching them with a red leather mini dress that left little to the imagination:

Next in line, the beautiful Jennifer Lopez accessorized this amazing Temperley London Fall 2011 Drape Shoulder Ruffle Cocktail Dress with the Christian Louboutin’s pair of pumps for the Samsung For Hope Event, whilst Kim Kardashian paired the Loubs with the gold Kaufman Franco gown at The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards :

The last two choices I made reveal an elegant Jennifer Morrison wearing the pumps with a Max Mara Pre-Fall 2011 Beige Embellished Bodige and Chiffon Dress at the 2011 InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards Post-party and a more casual Anna Kournikova, pairing the stars favorite pumps with a pair of denim shorts, a blouse and a grey blazer :

I personally couldn’t decide between the two “Jennifers” approaches, but I would love to know who do you think wore the Lady Peep Peep Toe Pumps better ? Join the discussion :)
