Once Upon a Time

Today marks the two month anniversary of our wedding, not that it is a real anniversary, but then again I always loved to celebrate every special event of my life by marking out the days, weeks, months and years. I can hardly believe how fast time went by but I am happy and grateful to be sharing this new chapter of my life with my best friend and my better half. I realize how lucky we are to have found each other ♥

I’m not good at sharing such intimate moments of my life, as I have always been a rather private person, but today it feels great to be able to do it differently. I know that every future bride carries a different fantasy of how she should look on this particular day: some channel princesses, some opt to look glamorous, while others choose pure extravagance or crazy colors. And I understand it all. It is extremely important to stay true to yourself during this memorable day. For me it was always going to be about simplicity. I chose to channel a bride’s innocence and candor, thinking more about fairies rather than princesses. I chose to feel easy and look as natural as possible. This is who I am and this is what I wanted to remember for the may years to come.

Our first dance was Lara Fabian’s Je t’aime, our cake was a super-delicious “Black Forrest”, we danced non-stop until we could barely feel our feet and it was by far the most wonderful day of our lives ♥ ♥

01. Once Upon a Time

No sun, no color

White, black and leather. For me it hardly gets better than this, which is why I took advantage of the few clouds darkening yesterday’s sky and decided to go out wearing a long-sleeved shirt and a blazer for a change. Of course, the minute I stepped out our building the sun broke through, but I decided to ignore it. I guess it was the strong long for fall that made me do it. I am always excited for September, I cannot wait for hopefully a long, colorful and warm autumn. And for many rainy days. With both my birthday and a trip to Budapest approaching, I feel excited for the upcoming weeks. Lots of love and thank you for reading ♥

I Wish

Since this week was a little bit busy so far and I haven’t got the opportunity to take some actual outfit pictures, today I decided to share with you the six items that made it into my wishlist for the following month(s). It’s not a fancy list, but actually made out of items that I would use a lot during fall and winter and that have been on my mind for a while now.

I Wish

July’s Gone

Can you believe it is already 2nd of August today? Me neither! But this is right about that time when I become a little bit sad for the half-gone summer, and a little more excited for the approaching days of September. I don’t know how you feel about it, but I absolutely adore September – and celebrating my birthday at the beginning of Fall has nothing to do with it.

Before I enter my nostalgic mood – way ahead of schedule – I thought I’d make a small recap of my favorite celebrity off-duty looks today, looks that caught my attention during the hot month of July. I haven’t got the opportunity to write about them yet, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t kept an eye opened.

Be sure to enjoy what’s left of this summer, I know I will! Until my next post, all the love in the world

Comme Une Evidence

Perfumes have fascinated me ever since I was a little girl (no surprise there); I love the stories that hide behind the aromas, I love the delicate hint of mystery they leave behind, but most of all, I love the memories that each scent triggers; the feeling I get whenever that spark happens is … indescribable, almost magical.

Celebrity Summer Style – Kate Bosworth

When it comes to fashion and styling, you may already know that after many years, I still love to get my fix of new ideas and inspiration, from the celebrity “world”. Of course, over these same years, I’ve developed certain preferences, I fell in love with a number of stars, I have found my favorite designers and came across a series of inspiring ladies, that soon became true fashion icons.

Kate Bosworth is amongst the celebrities that I hold dear to my heart due to her uncomplicated, chic, effortless and always feminine aesthetics. Her street style feels fresh, natural and above all, easy to pull off.

Mixing Asos and Topshop, with Isabel Marant and Mulberry key pieces for example, Kate is an on-going inspiration, especially during summer. How do you feel about miss Bosworth?

Summer Kind Of Wonderful

All the bad weather, the rain, the wind and the cold days, ended up being a little bit useful considering the fact that by not going out as often as I wished, I managed to eventually catch up on some of my favorite indoor activities. With summer officially starting yesterday, I could not help but dream about the warm weather, the sun and the comfortable, easy and light clothes waiting patiently to be worn.

One of my favorite ways to relax, while also doing some much needed “research”, is by browsing tens of celebrity pictures, caught during their off-hours; the perfect way to spot the trends, get lots of inspiration and find new favorites. I could do it for hours !

In the last couple of days, I came across with three different looks that celebrities rocked in May and I thought I’d share my personal thoughts on them, with all of you. I plan on doing this more often!

Oteea's-PicksFor months now, I have been admiring Ali Larter’s new style, that’s so clean, so chic and so effortless. I can’t wait to pair my new white shorts with an oxford style shirt – something that is yet missing in my wardrobe. I love how Ali accessorized with just a bright colored necklace, sand heels/ bag and cool sunnies. Her happiness, much like her stylish look, is contagious

Yes, as previously mentioned, I’m all for white this summer ! And Eva Longoria proves how this is a great choice, looking picture perfect in her white Victoria Beckham Collection mini-dress. I’m already thinking of the many more ways I could style that kind of a simple, yet effective dress. Good thing Eva’s accessories never let down – a brown Hermes bag, a pair of edgy Giuseppe Zanotti Women’s E10191 Open-Toe Ankle Boots and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses is all it takes to look flawless on a sunny day.

If I could, I would. I would definitely build my new style based on retro-chic inspired pieces only – femininity at its best. Wanna guess who inspires me? Of course it’s Taylor Swift, can you think of a more girlier-girl than her? A loose white shirt and a pair of denim shorts, both by Joe’s, seem like the comfortable way to take on the streets on a hot summer day. Taylor completed her look with Elizabeth and James Benedict sunglasses, a Coach purse and ballet flats. The red lipstick and blue nails look great too.

See you soon, I’m off adding the oxford style shirt to my shopping wish-list ! XO
