I believe in individuality, in respect, in kindness, in choosing happiness, always. I don’t believe in forcing my faith, my feelings or projecting my convictions onto somebody else, just because I can. When it comes to fashion, I believe the only way to grow is through trial and error. I love how we all flourish into very distinct personalities, sharing some beliefs, but walking such distinct paths.
Over time I understood that what I love isn’t necessarily what others find appealing, however I am used to people asking for my advice when it comes to clothes, books, movies, life.
This is why from time to time I choose to share whatever it is that inspires me, from a thought, to a quote, an experience or a wishlist, all I really want is to inspire you as well.
Seeing how winter is right around the corner and seeing how I postponed this moment for way too long, today I finally begun the hunt for the perfect winter coat. I am IN LOVE with this cream piece, as it looks classic and chic, but I would grab all of coats in a heartbeat given the chance.
When it comes to color and silhouette, I always tend to go with the classics: camel, brown, gray, black, khaki, cut in simple, sleek or oversized, boyfriend silhouettes. A touch of leather never hurt:
This season, I reinforce my love for gray, but I can’t resist something as sweet as baby blue neither:
Plaid and some beautiful, powdered shades of pink should also find their way into our wardrobes. Do what I do and pick a boyfriend silhouette if you want to add some balance to the sweetness of the pink, or go with a ladylike coat if you want to look feminine above anything else:
Hope you enjoyed this post and please do share which of the coats you like more. Lots of love, XO.
