This is the story of the pretty little black dress that I planned on wearing for New Year’s Eve. Sadly, the package I’ve been so eagerly awaiting for the entire month of December got lost, but here I am, five months later, getting to actually wear the dreamy dress on a rainy spring Monday that completely felt like a Sunday.I guess that feeling was amplified by the fact that I got to walk the busy streets dressed like I was going to attend a party, when in reality I only got out of the house to take some pictures and buy some groceries ^_^
I adore the dress though, and I cannot wait to wear it on a more fitted occasion, with heels and all.
I hope everyone fully enjoys this last week of May! Thank you for reading, much love ♥ ♥ ♥
I definitely feel like I have entered a new chapter in my life, or maybe it’s just a phase, but for now I actually love embracing this feminine side of mine. To think that 10 (!!!) years ago my closet didn’t held any skirts, or dresses for that matter, still feels a little bit surreal. Now, whenever I’m invited to start out a collaboration, I’m drawn to picking out a lovely dress and to see my collection slowly grow. This long sleeve tribal pattern straight dress was love at first sight, I pictured myself in it right away, I adore its play of colours and although short, it still feels easy to wear and pretty elegant. I love that I can wear it with heels and some cute flats as well, and totally change its attitude, and that it is perfect for both summer and autumn. I’ll leave you with the images shot yesterday on an incredibly warm weather. Is it summer yet? ^_^ Lots of hugs ♥ ♥ ♥
P.S. On a side note, I was extremely happy to find out my blog was nominated for the Intel People’s Choice Awards, alongside some of my favorite blogs, bloggers and friends. For this reason I now the voting process won’t be easy, but if you’d like to vote for me, you can do it at this link: http://www.expremio.com/digitaldivas/
Thank you! ♥ ♥ ♥
The minute you stop dressing for others that is when you allow the real YOU to finally emerge. And it feels great to be able to open up the closet and witness how all the clothes are finally getting along on telling the same story. A year has passed since all the skort madness, and I am still in love with its minimalistic shape and electric color, even more so now when people stopped wearing it obsessively. I tried balancing its super short silhouette with a classic shirt, a knotted ponytail and a statement necklace for a relaxing Sunday afternoon spent sipping a good cup of coffee and eating a delicious apple cake. Simplicity all the way.
Hope you’re having a great week so far, lots of hugs ♥ ♥ ♥
Lately, I found myself gravitating more and more towards skirts and dresses and I don’t know if it’s the warmth of spring to be blamed, or if I just needed a break from all the pants I’ve been wearing this year. A long, fluid dress was definitely missing from my closet, so I thought about picking this sheer, printed one after I fell in love with the subtle print and the delicate touches of blue. Truth be told, I wish it was just a tiny bit longer, but otherwise I feel it will be perfect for those long summer walks, because I feel as light as air when I’m wearing it.
Hope you enjoy the pictures we took on an incredibly windy Monday ^_^ Hugs & kisses, everyone!
First of all, I can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Second of all, Happy 1st of May, hope you’re all out&about, ready to enjoy this long weekend, having the best day ever! Since the last time I posted on the blog, I have been “haywire” trying to leave everything in order before our trip to Timisoara this Saturday, where we’ll be attending one of my best friends’ (more like a sister, really) wedding ♥ ♥ ♥ I’ve been counting down the days until this event for months now and I’m supper happy that it is almost here!
Other than that I baked my very first apple pie last Sunday, (with
a little help from my husband ♥ ♥ ♥), which turned out pretty amazing seeing how good I am at this stuff. I mean, I absolutely love eating home made treats, but I don’t often find the patience to make them myself ^_^. I also made a small appearance in Joy Magazine with one of my favorite looks ever, I’ve watched more Hannibal, I got myself a haircut – nothing major though, I have been eating ice-cream and drinking lots of coffee (but what else is new, right?).
Enough blabbering, I’ll leave you with the sporty-chic look we photographed this Monday ♥
