Bring Me Flowers

I’ve always been a fan of flowers worn in the hair or as a crown, especially as they symbolize such delicacy and grace. They somehow remind me of those crowns I used to receive all through primary school for excellent results, alongside books and diplomas, the purest joy ^_^. It all seems like a lifetime ago. Good thing the trend reemerged now, when I am ready to embrace my femininity and wear such dainty accessories without feeling uncomfortable, because the one thing I lacked in the past was the confidence to walk tall, trust my views and carry my believes. It took me a while to shake off the feeling that I’m being judged for all of my choices. Living to please others, mistake or not (although it might feel like the right thing to do at a certain point), it ain’t a healthy habit for sure. Thank God, we grow up!

In case you’re wondering what’s with the “confessions” part, it’s just me helping you get to know me better. I feel like my favourite blogs, just like my favourite books or movies, are the ones that allow me to relate to certain people, to their stories, memories and situations. I guess it’s about time I broke out of the shell.

I like how you always let us know a bit of yourself, a bit of your life. A wonderfully written article, great outfit and of course.. awesome pictures. You're lovely as always <3

I really love this post and for me such inspiring words came at the greatest time! I always struggle with confidence issues when it comes down to my design work for uni and it's like you said: we just need to raise our heads and be confident in the things we do. Lovely dress and gorgeous flower crown! The background setting is so rusty, great contrast against the sweet outfit look :) Maya – Archistas

It's the year of flower headbands and I couldn't be happier. I used to make them from real flowers in the summer, when I was little… I miss that.

It's great that you decided to open up to us :). I'm exactly like that, I always like something more if I can relate to it, even partly. I'm also still having self-confidence problems and I battle with the fact that you can't please everyone, all the time, although these are not as big issues as they used to be when I was younger.

Oh well, this is too vast a subject to discuss here… maybe we'll get to meet someday and talk :D.
