Just Like Heaven

As promised in my previous post, here are some of the pictures I took at the lovely chalet, where I got to spend last weekend. They’re less about me and more about the wonderful scenery. The pictures don’t do it justice, as it looked breathtaking in real life. Luckily, I’ve kept it all in: the little details, the blue skies that felt so close, the silence, the green and the wonderful people surrounding me

Oh, and the cake, the best cake I have ever eaten, filled with fresh raspberries, blueberries and vanilla ice-cream. Too bad I don’t have any pictures of it, but it was gone in a heartbeat :) Enjoy & I’ll see you soon.

City Girl Blues

Hello, darlings! I am back home after the most amazing weekend I’ve had in a long time. It felt so great to spend three days far away from the internet, away from work, surrounded only by loved ones, by little cats and dogs, by mountains and flowers. It really felt like heaven  I promise I’ll show you some pictures I took there in my next post. Until then …

… these are some of the pictures I took during my first day in Cluj, before we headed to the beautiful chalet, in the heart of the mountains. Hope you’ll like them. I wish you all a great start of the week. I am happy happy happy and ready to start fresh :) So much to do.

The Many Shades Of Grey

Nothing beats a laid back outfit during a HOT(!) summer afternoon to keep me comfortable and focused. For a day filled with many errands to run, I didn’t feel like putting something pretty on, in fact I didn’t felt like putting anything on but … who does that? So instead I grabbed a loose t-shirt, a pair of shorts, a cap and sneakers, all in the many shades of grey and I was set. I think grey best suits my mood these days :)

It’s August, but the Sun didn’t get the memo yet, so it pretty much still feels like July outside. And I can’t seem to be able to enjoy it anymore. It may be way to soon for this, but I already started dreaming about Fall: Fall weather, Fall colors, Fall layers, cuddling beneath warm blankets, drinking hot chocolate and tea … everything sounds amazing to me right now. And the rain, oh how I miss the rainy days!

I can’t wait to start upgrading my Fall wardrobe in the following months, so here are some ideas that I wanted to share with you today. For more looks like these ones, feel free to check my Pinterest inspiration board.

I wish you all a wonderful week darlings and I’ll be back in a couple of days. I would love to hear your thoughts so feel free to leave a comment. I’d better start working already. Much love, O.

It’s Black and It’s White

I’m in such a rush, I have so much work to do and so little time. Quite obvious, since I spent the day walking and enjoying the amazing weather :) Now, the late hours will totally be worth it. On another note, the eye treatment is finally working, yay,  hopefully I will be done with doctors in a couple of weeks. I couldn’t be happier. Everything’s getting back to normal … and I would love to write about a million little other things, when I really shouldn’t. But I do have to mention I have the best fiancee in the world Enjoy the pictures. I took the Kitty Shirt on another walk, I couldn’t help myself. I’m not making any sense, am I ?

Hugs & kisses

When The Sun Sets

I’m not going to lie, I might have enjoyed my break from everything for a little while, but today, as the air felt so crisp and fresh, I could not miss on the opportunity to go out and breath it all in. My eyes feel a little bit better, my treatment changed three times over the past week, but I’m not going to bore you with all of the glory details. Of course I’m not going to :)

When The Sun Sets 01

On the Dark Side

Dear readers,

Sorry for the lack of activity here on the blog lately and sorry if I haven’t got the chance to get back to you. I find myself forced to take a little break from everything, in order to properly take care of my eyes. After months of struggling and a misdiagnose, on Friday I found out that I’m dealing with a severe eye infection.

That pretty much took the fun out of everything, as you can easily imagine, and forced me to live kind of like a bat. I now enjoy a dark room, I have to think about my medicine & the eye drops, I have to avoid the sun, dust, flowers, pets (it’s the first time I’m glad I don’t have one, cause how could I have kept my distance ?). I also limited my time in front of the computer/TV. And, of course… no make up for me either.
