Surviving The Heat

On Saturday morning, my fiancee and I had the most uninspired idea to enjoy our day by planning a walk, right in the middle of the afternoon. That’s the exact time I wouldn’t leave the house, under normal circumstances, of course. But hey, everyone gets fooled by the alluring sun and the beautiful sky, once in a while. It just seemed so quiet and peaceful outside, later I understood why. It was definitely a trap ^_^

But we survived the meltdown, barely, with the help of ice-cold beverages and delicious ice-cream. Today, I don’t feel like leaving the house, and that’s a good thing since I got to concentrate on my projects.

Later on, we’ll be definitely watching some more Dexter and maybe I’ll even do some reading. I feel like reading, reading, and reading, but after a long period of time dedicated exclusively to classic novels, I find myself craving for something new, fresh and captivating. I was thinking about The Hunger Games or The Secret Life Of Bees – but if some of you, read any exciting novels lately, PLEASE, do share. I love hearing about books

I will most definitely read The Hunger Games this summer, now I'll only have to decide between the original version (that I'll have to order), or the translated one .
