I know, I know, black leather leggins are not exactly an essential piece in our wardrobe, but somehow this season I begin to think they are. I must say I still don’t own anything leathery, I practically don’t even know why, maybe because it wasn’t my style up until now, but I’m slowly falling into this trend and I think I might try them very soon :D.
To be prepared when that moment comes and also for all of you who do own a pair of leather leggins, the next three looks may come in handy.
The first almost all-black look, gives a little bit of edge to our “on-the-go” pieces and it is Rock&Roll meets Biker Chick inspired but on a softer level. I couldn’t decide on the t-shirt as I found two adorable ones : I Love Cats ( I’m a cat person, yes) and the cute Kate Mouse Tee.
I used : The Row – Occayne stretch-leather leggings; Simeon Farrar For Japan – Kate Mouse cotton T-shirt; Vince – Quilted leather motocross jacket; Alexander McQueen – Swarovski crystal double-skull ring; Zoe Karssen – I Heart Cats cotton and modal-blend T-shirt; Marc Jacobs – Cooper quilted leather shoulder bag; Belstaff – Barkmaster leather boot.
The second look is more urban, more feminine, it’s all about the sheer materials and the high heels :
I used : The Row – Occayne stretch-leather leggings; Equipment – Signature leopard-print silk-chiffon shirt; Stella McCartney – Faux suede high-cut pumps; Giles & Brother – Archer 10-karat gold-plated cuff; Karl Donoghue – Shearling gilet; Miu Miu – Madras leather clutch.
Sequined top, high heels, sparkly earrings and of course the final look is perfect for a night out:
I used : The Row – Occayne stretch-leather leggings; Milly – Victoria suede and leather clutch; Yves Saint Laurent – Studded suede platform sandals; Dannijo – Cambria silver-plated Swarovski crystal earrings; Anna Sui – Sequined mesh top.
Hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed “mixing” these beautiful clothes. All the items used in this post were chosen from NET-A-PORTER ;).
